Member Since: August 2005 Posts: 12 Send Message	My father was born MICHAEL GEOFFREY BAKER 3 March 1947 in NORWICH, NORFOLK. His mother was a Ruth BAKER and sometimes used the name Jean (I believe) RUTH was born in SUFFOLK. And I believe she was RUTH HJ BAKER. My fathers father was I believe a man in the forces - perhaps he was killed and Ruth gave my father up for adoption in 1952. Ruth would have been 23/24 years old. Please please any information you can give me would be gratefully appreciated.

	Do you have Michael's birth certificate ? (Vol 4b Page 1212) There might be extra info on that. For Ruth.... YEAR .. 1924 QUARTER .. Jan-Feb-Mar NAME .. Baker Ruth H J Mothers maiden Name .. Plant District .. Blything Vol .. 4a Page .. 1808 If you but Ruth's birth certificate it should give you full names of both her parents
