Hope you don't mind Nerine......

Terry,
Nerine has found the details of your your relatives marriage and then she has found Baker children whose mother had the maiden name Digby.

If you buy Harold and Winifred's marriage certificate then it will give you the names and occupations of both of their fathers and sometimes the witnesses to the marriage can provide further clues and that will help you research further back in time

There's no ulterior motive behind us helping...we just like doing it.
Have you tried "Search Trees' at the top of the page to see if anyone has any of your family names in their tree?

Search Trees....
You have to click on the name of the person on the left hand side of the screen as that's the person who might have your relative in their tree.
It's to that person that you are sending a message and you can't see their tree unless they give permission.

I wouldn't recommend using the Genes Reunited facility that allows you to send an automated response as the person you are contacting simply gets a message asking "can I see your tree" and a great many people simply won't reply to you.

Let them know in your message that you have at least some information on your relatives even if it's limited.

That way they can see whether you share common ancestors and hopefully they'll get back to you.

I know that you are more keen to find living relatives rather than the ones you have passed away but you will find that by working back and adding to your tree that eventually you'll find more and more relatives who have descended from your ancestors brothers, sisters etc:
Don't worry, you'll soon become addicted....like the rest of us !!!!
