I am looking for living relatives of cyril Baker born 1919 son of Harold & winifred born in walthamstow east london

What searches have you done? Do you know whom he married, who his children were ... ?

Do you know whether he had siblings?

It's worth doing the basic research first, so you can offer that info and people aren't guessing.

If you find his birth, it will tell you his mother's birth surname.

You can then search for Baker births with that same surname, to identify any siblings he had, i.e. their full names (with middle initial) and years of birth.

Then their marriages (and, likely, deaths) could perhaps be identified.


... For starters, there are so many Cyril Baker births around that time ... but none in 1919 in that location. What is the source of your info? Do you know his middle name?

yes spot on with the siblings.Terence George was my father. my trail runs cold in 1947 when the adress in chingord no longer had records. I have not managed anything after that

What we're doing is suggesting that if you trace the families of his siblings, you might find a niece or nephew who would know something about him.

You may be thinking we can see your family tree. We can't. (And I don't want to - just one more annoying tab I have to toggle back and forth to.)

All the info that you have that could help should be in this thread. Like ... the names of the 9 siblings that I keep trying to get you to disclose ... and whether you know any of their family members ...
