Fran, Granddaughter I am trying to find relatives of : Winifred Mary Baker born 1897. Married Herbert Thomas Marshall possibly, 1930's The mother, Winifred Mary Baker, had a previous marriage in 1923 to George Frederick Woodward. They had Four Daughters Lilian Marshall born 1931 Winifred Mary Marshall born 1933 Betsy Elizebeth Marshall born 1935 Edna Marshall borne 1936 They were all born in the Walsall Area and taken into care around 1935/6. They were either adopted. fostered or spend there childhood in a home. There was an older sister, Irene May, born 1929 who always knew she had sisiters. She was around 5 years at the time they were but into care so it is likely that the younger sisters do not know of her existence. With the facts that I have I believe my mother also had the same father (Marshall) hence is a whole sister not a half-sister although she was registered as a 'Woodward'. I am desparately trying to find her sisters for her. |
