BAKER One of the witnesses at my maternal grandparents wedding was a P Baker who I believe to be PHILIP BAKER a solicitor from Birmingham (where they married). There used to be a firm of solicitors in Birmingham, when I lived there, by the name of Philip Baker and Son, which my mother led me to believe was a relation. I believe P Baker may have been a cousin of my grandfather and would be interested to hear from anyone who has any further information. I have found an entry on the 1901 census, but obviously do not know how it ties in - if at all. Carole Needham |
