I am trying to locate my Fathers brother Dennis Baker, born about 1940, I believe the last time they saw each other was in Stockport some 40 years ago? My fathers name is John Frederick Baker and they lived as children in the grounds of Pendennis Castle, Falmouth, Cornwall as their father (Charles Alexander Baker) was the caretaker. They had a sister also called Phyllis who I believe died some time back? Their mother was called Violet Baker (maiden name: Girling). I believe they later moved to Bristol? I would also like to find any of their siblings, my long lost cousins, so please get in touch if you are one. Hi.
I'm so grateful for you hearing from Aussie. As my late husband Paul Henry Baker must have relatives over there as well.
My husband is not the one you're looking for as I live in Malta. My husband's father name was Harry Jack Baker and he was soldier during the war. He was in prison for 3 yrs kept from the Germans, Than moved him to Greece where he managed to escape. His wife,s name was Dolly Baker and they had 3 kids. Jacky, My husband Paul and Wendy. My husband was born in 1956 - 2006.
My husband he always told me that he had aunties and cousins that moved to Australia. I don't know exactly there names but he always mentioned one of them named WENDY. I believe there is a pair of twins as well. As nobody in there family had twins. I used to live in Cheshire where my daughter Amanda was born in 1987 and my twins was born in Malta in 1994.
That's all that I can say for now. Hope to hear from you and sry for the long letter that I wrote.

hi i have bakers in my family, i was interested to hear about the twins as i my self had twins, my grandmother shirley frost nee baker was a twin i was wondering if they may be a connection as i myself have relatives in aussie and new zealand, could you give me a little bit more info so i can compare please
