Bakers of Wrexham. I AM TRYING TO FIND INFORMATION ON A FAMILY CALLED BAKER WHO WERE LIVING IN AND AROUND WREXHAM IN 1937. LILY, AGED 22, LIVED AT 26 FINNEY STREET, WREXHAM IN 1937 HER FATHER ALFRED BAKER LIVED AT 7 CROFTS ROW, PONTLOTTYN. LILY BAKER, BORN AROUND 1914, WAS UNMARRIED . SHE HAD A SON DENIS BAKER AND DAUGHTER SHEILA BAKER, WHO WERE TAKEN INTO CARE AND FOSTERED OUT IN ESSEX, BY BARNADOS. THEY NEVER SAW THEIR MOTHER AGAIN, AND DID NOT EVEN KNOW HER NAME. LILY BAKER HAD SISTERS - A. FIDDENHAM, S. GRIFFITHS WHO HAD A DAUGHTER VERA, M.CARROL ANNIE BAKER M. THOMPSON HER SISTER, EDITH BAKER AND A BROTHER ALBERT BAKER, LIVED WITH LILY AND ALL THEIR CHILDREN. CAN YOU HELP AT ALL WITH THIS FAMILY? many thanks, Mary |
