I am trying to trace my grandfathers family. His name was Charles Albert Louis Baker. He was born 6th Sept,1909.in Steyning. His parents lived at 2 Sheridan Terrace Hove when he was born, and his father was a house painter. He married Elizabeth May Dumbrell in Steyning, Hove, East Sussex in 1932. His parents are Charles Morris Baker and Mary Elizabeth Baker (nee Curtis) of Hove. He was a stoker on the HMS Iron Duke 1933 and was a Petty Officer HMS Victory where he was killed on duty 17/4/1941. His service no. was P/MX61817. He had two children, my mother Molly Jean Baker b. 16/3/1933 and a son Charles (Morris) Louis Baker known as Jim b. 18/10/1935 . He had a brother John and Twin brothers Lew (lewis) and Dick (I think Richard, who was killed near the end of the second world war) and a sister ( dont know her name, but my mum new her as Aunty Bubbles)
