Hi, im trying to find any information on my mothers side of the family especially about someone named Elizabeth(?) Baker (my great grandmother). im not sure what her maiden name was. Possibly Rowle? i was told she was the daughter of one of the founders of Tate&Lyle (yes, the sugar people) and we would like to know if this is true. she was cut out of the will when she married my great grandfather, Ernest John Baker. She went on to have 4 children, Gordon, Owen (born with cerebal pausey) Mabel and my grandmother Vera (also known as pamela.) I know they lived in minehead, somerset but the only dates i am sure of is my grandmothers (vera) birthday which is 12/08/1927 and Mabel was born in 1919.i would love to find out more about either the Baker side of the or the mysterious Tate&Lyle part! thank you for your help!
