would like some more info on my gfathers family he was Fredrick William Baker born 1886 Paddington 4th child/ son of Walter Henry Baker born Darham Norwich 1855 and Emily ??? she was from Yorkshire. they had 5 children - were 'in service' somewhere in London/Pimlico area. Charlewood St. he was the 2nd coachman. Ada b 1879 married Jack Higgins think they had a son called Eddie he was a fireman - my dad came across him in the 60's/ John/Jack born 1880/1- he had a son called Fred, i worked with him circa 1970 in London. he was a gas fitter. Dorothy m Max Munster Evelyn Maude m ?? Parrot - they had a son called Peter who was killed in an accident. i think they divorced. she was a matron at a Darlington Hospital and died about 1986. lived with a lady called Jessie ?? would be interested to hear from you if any of these names are familiar |
