Looking for information about John Baker (bn 1807 Newsham, Kirby Ravensworth, Yorkshire - not far from Darlington & Barnard Castle) and wife Jemima Baker (nee Snaith) (bn 1818, Darlington). Their children (all Born in Darlington) were - Jemima (1842 - 1904) - married John Johnson; Elizabeth (1844 - 1876) - married Jonathan Brown; John (1846 - 1885); William (1851 - 1926) - married Elizabeth Heslop; Fredrick (1856 - 1925). They were grocers & confectioners and lived in Darlington, County Durham, England. They are buried in Darlington West Cemetery. William married Elizabeth Heslop and they had five children - Effie (1877 - 1956); John (1879 - c1950); William (1881 - c1956); Frank (1887 - 1972) & Minnie (1885 - 1970). |
