I'm trying to find ancestors of my grandmother who was born in southampton on 21st october 1918. She was named Violet dorothy baker but her name was changed to dorothy violet.And everyone who knew her called her dot.She worked at owen and owens as a waitress for most of her life and then moved to tyrell and green where she work until retiring. she married kenneth roy barnes but everyone called him roy they had to children colin and geoffery she sinced sadly died 24/12/1993. i hope there is someone out there who can help she was a wonderful lady and would love to know more about her past |
