I am trying to find any information about my grandfather John BAKER. All I know at present is that he was born about 1869/70, place unknown. He was living with my grandmother Alice May Simmonds/Thorogood and had 4 children together. John BAKER died while living in Ilford, on 11th March 1933 aged 63. He enlisted in the Gloucestershire Regiment when he was 45 years of age, and gave an address in Midsomer Norton. I desparately want to find out more about my grandfather but have hit that big brick wall! Any help gratefully appreciated. |
