I am working on my mums family tree and would love to hear from anyone who may have information or know any of the following people. The following are my grans siblings who all lived at Braid Street 1981/1901 census her name was Annie Bell b1893 who married Thomas Taylor they had 3 children Robert,James and Anne. Her sister Elizabeth Bell b1883 married I believe George McEwan, they had Elizabeth and George, Elizabeth(daughter) married someone with the name Gowling and they had Eric (he possibly may have been a doctor and would be about 60 now) and Lizanne. William Bell b1897 went to Canada/America? and worked in Ford Factory I don't think he ever married. Andrew Bell b1888 (worked at a newspaper)married Milly Whitelaw No children of his own, Milly possibly had a daughter. James Bell b1885 went to Australia don't know who he married but he may have 1 daughter. Mary Bell b1891 fell pregnant and had a daughter called Bunty she later married someone with the surname Clydesdale and went on to have Betty and Irene. Thomas Bell b1886 was shot during the war however survived he suffered from TB however he fathered no less than 9 children, James,Greta,Thomas,Nancy,Andrew,Georgette,Johnny,William and Robert. My mother was brought up in Possilpark and stayed in Killearn Street. She married John Hume when she was 29. I know this is really long however this is all the info I have and can not seem to move forward anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
