My name is Sophie Ashley nee Long, and I'm trying to fill in some blanks about the Long family. My father is Andrew Edward Mitchell Long, born 1952 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. His father (my grandfather) is Maurice Edward Long, usually known as Jim Long, born in 1913 probably in Sussex, England (or possibly Mildenhall?). Maurice's father is Herbert Earnest Long and Maurice's mother is EVELINE BELL. Maurice has 2 known siblings Evan and Doris. Herbert and Eveline both died when the children were young and the children were sent off to live with their relatives (I do know that Doris lived with her aunt but not sure from which side of the family). I would like to hear from anyone who may know anything about Eveline Bell (born probably around 1888, give or take several years?). I would appreciate hearing from anyone who may know something about Eveline Bell. Thanks |
