By 1861 all the children from this family are working or boarded out and no sign of mother Mary,So my guess is Thomas was married to Mary first.It would be interesting to find 2 marriages ??

My next thought is that not all the children from the second marriage ? were his, possibly they just took his name ? which might account for births being hard to find ?

Well we have Albert, Joseph & Thomas on the IGI. Not all records are on there...

I'll take a look for the others now..

Lindsey i think the second find maybe a red herring... There are 2 Thomas Bennett's living/born in the same area 2 years apart...

The names don't match and of the ones that do they have not aged as they should...
