My Grandmother & siblings were born out of wedlock. James Bennett married Amelia Brooks October 1925 & she died December 1925. The first of their children was born in 1913. |

It would seem more likely that the first wife's death was nearer to the time of the second marriage....hence the illegitimate offspring.......... |
