Alice my great-aunt, last appears in the 1871 census living in Abingdon with her father Thomas , 2 brothers & sister although she was witness at her brother Albert's marriage in Sandhurst, Berks, c.1892. Would be very grateful for any help in tracing her, please.

In 1881 I think she is visiting in Newington a William and Annabella Joyce
Alice S Bennett 28 Domestic servant b Gosford Berks

Gosford is a mispelling of Garford which is shown as place of birth in earlier years

There is another marriage rather closer than Maidstone
Alice Sarah Bennett m 1893 Jun Q Witney Oxon Frederick Kitching or John Rickett vol3a page 1381

I've been unable to establish which one by ref to the 1901 census but if you order the cert with the proviso that if the father doesnt match you dont have to pay the full amount (£7)
