Find Ancestors

Hi Folks could i have a hand in trying to locate the parents of Hannah Bennett approx 1841/2 Born in Longton, Stafforshire.
Hannah was married to a William Tilston i have all the info up to there. I`m trying to locate Hannahs parents, but yet to no avail. I have found a few family trees on Ancestry and they have Hannahs parents as a Joseph bennett and a Elizabeth ( unknown ) The trouble i have is that they have both parents down as died in approx 1822, how can this be if Hannah was not born till 1841/2 !!!!!!!! and also that they were born in America, this i am happy with LOL , but it dosent seem to make any sence. I have messaged the people on Ancestry but they seem to take weeks to reply.
Any help would be godsend.

who does she name as her father on her marriage cert.Have you looked on the 1841/51 census for her

Aiden is this your Hannah? It seems as if her name is handed down. Could the person who died in 1822 be her grandmother.

The marriage cert would help with father's name - then you might find that she's one of these:

It might be an idea to ask the GRO to do a 3 year search on her - if you have an address from the 1841 plus dad's name from the marriage cert.
