Find Ancestors

Hi, I have run into some difficulty tracing one of my ancestors. His name is Albert Bennett Born 1868. His wife was called Ellen Washbourne. I have plenty of information on her side of the family but sadly I can not find any on Albert's side. I believe he was borne in Alcester, Warwickshire. They had their fist child Fanny Bennett in 1907.
If anybody has an Albert Bennett in their tree please do not hesitate to contact me.

Strange that he's not showing as there when I searched.
I would suggest that you look for a death for him unless you are sure that he was still alive at that time. Did they have any more children?
What was his occupation? Did it involve travelling?

Yes she was. I have her former husband and there children together. It is Albert I can't find any family for and I know he didn't come out of thin air!

How do you know when he was born? Do you have the marriage certificate giving his father's name?

I have the census for 1911 and it shows him as being 43 at the time and I worked backwards.

I can't understand why he isn't showing in the 1911.

Can't find him for certain in 1901.
If you get his marriage cert. it will give us his father's name and we will stand a better chance of finding him.

I have just had the marriage certicate through for Albert's son, Arthur Bennett (my father) and his Marriage to Doris Bennett. It shows Albert's profession as Forester.
