hi,

I am trying to find any info on the Bennett family of Studley, Warwickshire.

In particular Albert Bennett B. 1868 in Studley according to 1911 census.

Would really love to find out who his parents were.

Hi Jan,

Yes, he married Ellen Harris (Nee Washbourne) approx. 1907. She had 4 children from her first marriage and they were shown living with them in 1911.

I would strongly advise getting the marriage cert to get his father's name - here it is:

Marriages Dec 1906
BENNETT Albert Alcester 6d 1373
Harris Ellen Alcester 6d 1373


There is one likely birth though the age is a bit astray (as on the census above)

Hi James I used to live a few miles from Studley I am researching the Cookes, Parsons Hubands all Studley people do u live there?

No sorry I do not. I went there recently and the farmer was able to remember my family. It may be worth you contacting him.
