Could someone look up the 1911 census for the daughter of Victor Bennett and Gertrude Sanderson. They married in 1907 and Gertrude died of TB in 1909 and I know that they had a daughter born during those two years. Gertrude came from Kent . Many thanks |

Victor Cyril Bennett, 29 of New Zealand, was living with his mother-in-law in 1911 but there is no daughter. She was either living elsewhere, 'adopted' or she died. |

Thank you so much for the information, perhaps my relatives thought the mother in law was a daughter or as you say she was adopted. |

done a bit of digging on freebmd to see if there were any Bennett girls born in Lewisham district between 1906 and 1909 who then died before 1911 in Lewisham district (assuming that Victor did not move before 1911 census) |
