BENNETTS OF CAMBRIDGE Is anyone else searching for Bennets of Cambridge? My great grandfather was James Bennett, b 1832 in Cambridge. A Coachmaker's viceman he married Sarah (Mary?) Ann Richardson, also of Cambridge. They lived at 86 York Street in 1901 with children Arthur 36 a tailor, Mary 30 a tailoress, George 25 a tailor worker, Elizabeth 25 and Jennie 21. Other son - my grandfather - Henry (harry) James Bennet then age 37 lived at 15 earl Street with wife Mary Ann. nee Saggers of Bassingbourn and children Harry James, Athur George and Clara Sarah Ann Richardson was daughter of richard Richardson of cambridge, b approx 1809 and wife MaryAnn believed born Harlow approx 1810. Can anyone help me to get further back tthan that? |
