Any descendants or information please on Joseph Bennet, born 1877, Wentworth, Elsecar, Yorkshire. Joseph was living in Doncaster at Vincent Road in 1916. Also information, please, on his brother, Thomas William Bennett, born 1883 at Elsecar. He was living in Sheffield at Sheldon Road in 1916. Both brothers were bank clerks. Their parents were William and Mary E. Bennett ( nee Burrill ) of Elsecar. Joseph and Thomas were cousins to my Grandfather, Joseph Wood Belcher. I am trying to find any information on my Bohemian 'black sheep of the family' Grandfather and will be glad to share what I have learned with any relations. |
