I am researching my family tree and would like to hear from anyone who has information on the following - John Bennett ( butcher at sharples butchers) and Martha Bennett ( nee Wheeldon )who lived at Marple Bridge Marple Cheshire in 1863. They had 3 children, John born in 1863, Martha and another daughter who we believe had a christian name beginning with W. John Bennett born in 1863 married Isabel Mary Barnard. John was a policeman stationed at Mickel Trafford, Sutton Weaver and Farndon. He joined Chesire constabulary in 1885 and later went on to work as a ticket inspector for Seacombe Ferries. If anyone has any connection with our family we would love to hear from you. |
