im trying to find james bolton born about 1928 dont know is parents but would like to find out james got married about 1948 any help will be appreciated many thanks jean married in st helens

Do you know who he married? If so, you need to buy the marriage certificate to get his age and father's name.

There are 2 marriages for James Bolton to Ann Ashton. One is James W - did your James have a middle initial ?

The most recent census available is the 1911, so these people won't be on it. You need to buy the marriage certificate or their birth certificates to get more details. The marriage certificate will give their ages and the names of the fathers and their occupations.
