Find Ancestors

I would like to here from decendants of James Boyd who married Julia Holloway in 1868. Their children were all born in Beechworth Victoria, Australia. They were Jessie c1870, Augusta c1872, David c1874, Blanch c1876, Violet c1876, Alfred c1878, Eleanor c1881, Margaret c1883 and Frederick c1887.

James was a gold miner in the Beechworth area. He was born 16/5/1837 in Launceston Tasmania and is a brother to my husbands' great grandfather Charles. The sons of William Boyd and Janet Docherty.

My information was gained from our local historical society who had someone do the look ups from BDM many years ago. James was a goldminer in the 1870s so obviously moved to Melbourne in later years to begin a business.
