He married Janet Kid(d) in Haddington in 1771 and had five sons: David b 1773, John b 1775, Robert b 1777, Hugh b 1779 and Alexander b 1783. Can anyone help? Many Thanks,Penny

I'm really looking for where and when he was born and his parents names as I've hit a brick wall and can't go any further back than this. Regards, Penny
