I am trying to confirm if the parents of Peter Boyd born approx 1855, in Mains, Angus, Scotland were Peter Boyd & Catherine Boyack, is there somewhere I can look at the Scottish census of say 1861 or 1871 to try and confirm this?

Did he marry, and, if so, have you got his marriage certificate for parents' names?
You have a choice for Peter Boyd on the censuses from ancestry in 1861.

That is the Peter and Catherine I was hoping for, but I guess I may need some form of physical confirmation i.e. Marriage/birth certificates to make sure but for sure that is some good news.
