I am trying to confirm if the parents of Peter Boyd born approx 1855, in Mains, Angus, Scotland were Peter Boyd & Catherine Boyack, is there somewhere I can look at the Scottish census of say 1861 or 1871 to try and confirm this? |

Did he marry, and, if so, have you got his marriage certificate for parents' names? |

That is the Peter and Catherine I was hoping for, but I guess I may need some form of physical confirmation i.e. Marriage/birth certificates to make sure but for sure that is some good news. |
