My section of the family have roots in South Africa. I have letters which are sent from Livingston, Rhodesia by my paternal great grandmother in the 1920s. Her name was Ruth, her husband James Andrew Boyd, a name which was given to the eldest son until my brother (who died at only a few months old in 1940s. If any one has any history in South Africa I would love to know.
