Trying to find Boyd

If you are a Boyd who has/had connections at Canderside Toll please let me know. Trying to find relations of my grandad Robert Boyd born in Shettleston approx 1906 he had older brothers and sister - Alexander,Margaret, Janet, Agnes, Christina and James - his parents were James Boyd and Janet Perrie - he married an Isabella Cook in Dalserf in 1929 - they must have divorced as he then moved to Dumfries area and married an Ellen in 1942. I know Agnes married a James Perrie. But know nothing of what happened to the other children - Robert died in 1976 - I think he was 67 - he was also a coalminer in Shettleston. Hope someone can help. |
