Hi folks, I am trying to research my Grandfather - Myron Lester Boyd - born c.1890 USA (Canada ?) . Reputed to have left home at approx. 13 yrs. of age, possibly joined a merchant vessel as apprentice cabinet maker. Settled in UK and fought in WW1 - Serjeant in Welsh Regiment. Married Mary Elizabeth ????? and had 5 sons and 2 daughters between 1917 and 1933. Emigrated to Canada (Saskatchewan) c.1930 returning to the UK after only 2 or 3 years. Died in 1938 in St Mellons, Cardiff. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Chris Boyd
