The Australian Electoral Rolls of 1936 show Robert & Blanche living at Hoskins St.
In 1930, Robert is at 58 Goldsmith St, but no other Brown's with him. So, no help with finding parents.

Get the marriage certificate, it will give you somewhere to start.

Hi Alice

Robert's death is listed on ryersonindex*org, you can request a lookup of the death notice in the Sydney Morning Herald on 8th Aug 1984 from that site. Notice may have additional info.

But I agree with Julie, your best bet is the marriage cert, they are usually quite detailed and well worth the money (about A$17 I think).

Good luck!
