Find Ancestors

I am looking for infomation on Alice Brown, I don,t know any other details than that she lived at one point with my grandfather Charles Henry in Thetford Norfolk. They are inturned together in Thetford. I would like to know a little about the lady who spent the last few years with charles and whom I know made him happy.
Any infomation would be great thank you.

The info I have is that Charles Henry bannister died in the january 1977 and we believe Alice died in the november of 1976. They are buried together in Thetford. I have 7 Sloane square Thetford as there address i,m afraid i have no other details. I know this isn,t alot but thought I would try anyway. I presume Alice was married to a Brown although I can,t be sure of that. I do know that the flat was cleared out by Charles,s daughter when he died. I would ask her but unfortunately she passed away in 1990. I would like to know a little about the lady but am stuck on anything concrete.

well that puts me right out of the running for finding anything - I am rubbish at anything that recent, but despair not!! others on here are fantastic, so hold on and wiat!!!

I had an idea while i was replying to your earlier message! I looked at the record for charles death and the district was wayland. I then had a look for Alice for the year 1976, theonly one I could find was an entry that says
alice may brown born 23 may 1901 died j,a,s 1976 in great yarmouth. I wonder if this is the right one... This means I might have to have alook on the 1911 , but it probaly won,t be any good as I don,t know if that is her maiden name or married one!!! I,m rubbish with the recent look ups as well thats why I posted on here. I hope someone may be able to suggest what to do apart from give up of course lol Thanks for replying anyway.
