James was my grandfather and lived in Milton Cottage,Guthrie St. Carnoustie until his death in 1950. My Grandmother was Elizabeth Gourlay. I do not think either of them were originally from Carnoustie. I believe my grandfather was born c1900 but I don't know where. Any assistance appreciated. |

I don't have any credits for scotlandspeople, but I can tell you that a James Ogilvie Brown's birth was registered in Barry in 1893, so I may have found the right one :-) |
