Find Ancestors

Hi can anyone help to find birth marriage and death of this chap he was from london area and married a lillian maud yexley in the 40s we think!! they had 4 children 3 girls and one boy.

we believe he died about 1995 ish and was born in the 20s i know not alot to go on but if anyone can help it would be great!! si.

Yes, Chalk and Clover are mother's maiden names.

If you go to freebmd, you should be able to find marriage details, especially for the Yexley/Chalk marriage.

Are you using the search box at the top, under Advertisement? Don't - that takes you to Ancestry's site.

Click on the SEARCH (in red) lower down the screen. That will bring up a search form; select the type of record you are looking for (birth, marriage, death).

For the Yexley/Chalk marriage, just enter the two surnames, one in the Surname box and the other in Spouse/Mother surname box. As the first child was born in 1915, enter a year two or three before that in the first date range box and 1915 in the second. The marriage is there!
