Stephen Hobbings Brown - born 1834 Chipping Norto

Could somebody please help with a missing relative - I can't find what happened to him.

He is Stephen Hobbings Brown (Hobbings the middle name) who was born in Chipping Norton Oxfordshire in 1834. He was christened 22/9/1834 in Chipping Norton.

His father was Stephen Brown (Wine Merchant) who was born 1810 in Chipping Norton and his mother was Elizabeth Jordan who was born about 1818 in Tredington or Armscote. His brother was Thomas Maling (or Maley) Brown who I have found well documented in records..

I can't find him in census,death or marriage records and wonder if anyone else would have any luck finding him.

There is a Public Family Tree on ancestry.co.uk under the name Elizabeth Jordan .... is that you??


anyway, it says that father also has the middle name of Hobbins

It is my tree on Ancestry but can't get any further with Stephen jnr. I can't find them on the 1841 census either. They didn't leave the country - or if they did they left their other son, Thomas, behind!
