TRYING TO FIND DOREEN BROWN

I'm trying to trace DOREEN ELLEN BROWN and her family.

I have Doreen's birth certificate, DOB 15/12/34 at Harrow Dr, Edmonton Mddx
Father, Ernest Thomas Brown - no DOB
Mother, Ellen Doris Brown,ne Sergeant - no DOB
Married , 1932 in Edmonton
Later legally separated.
Ernest moved to Rugby where he had children with another unknown woman

Older sister DOB 1932/33 married around 1951
Younger Brother DOB 1941/42

1951 family lived at Fawley Road, Tottenham
1952 Doreen was in Wiltshire

I am new at this and thought it would be a logical search but its a bit mind boggling to say the least, especially with a name like Brown!!

Thanks Julie, I will send off for the Mum and Dad's marriage cert then. I wasn't sure what info it would give.

Wow Julie, can't believe you got all that info so quickly. I have been going round in circles all morning. So who are the other names, Arken William Best and Best Edith G Arken? Will they be a relation who witnessed the marriage.
Thank you so much for your help I really appreciate it.:)
How can I find out if Doreen Brown is still alive or if she married. I have tried searching but nothing definitive

Hi Carol,
Doreen Brown on my tree is Doreen Audrey Brown who lives in South London. I see from your messagesto Madeline that you are new to this. Another site you might like to consider is Ancestry.com, lots of information on there. W.H.Smith has a computer programme with 3 months FREE on Ancestry but iut does cost £20. Good luck with your searching.

Thanks for that Lynne. I'm sending off for marrieage certificate for Brown/Serjant as I understand it can give lots of valuable info.
