Hi i am looking for a Sophia Brown born 1814 at Tetsworth Oxfordshire I think she is the child of Thomas Brown born 1796 at Tetsworth and Mary Kingham. Thank you Sandy

On the 1851 census there is a R Seaward living with Thomas Brown born 1796 and Mary Brown he is down at Thomas Brown grandson
Richard Seaward is born1848 I have found one birth record for a R Seaward and he is the son of John Seaward and Sophia. Looking on other web sites i have found a record for a Sophia Brown born 1814 at Tetsworth but that is all i can find Sandy

The one you have found in 1851 is likely to be from the marriage below. However, there are other possibilities. You need to work backwards with a certificate that you know is definitely the right one. How did you get back to Sophia i.e. what is the earliest certificate you have please?

You haven't tried to help us to help you by telling us who, in your tree, she is supposedly related to................

And I'm sorry to say this, but you don't seem actually have taken notice of the postings on here............

.............for a start......think carefully about her supposed birth year in relation to that of the man you think was her father..........as per my earlier comments
