I am looking for John Brown,mariner.He was born about 1800 in Liverpool.He married Ann Wright Crabb from Heswall.They had one daughter Ann.I found him on the 1841 census living 27,Mile End,Liverpool.He didn,t appear on anymore census,on the 1851 Ann was down as married but on the 1861 census she was down as a widow.John Browns ancestors might have come from Jamaica and he might have been coloured. |
