BROWN.... Hi Trying to find information on my GGGGrandparents JOHN and ANN ( nee Preston). I believe they were married 16.2.1789 Aukland St. Andrew Durham Eng. As far as I know they had 4 sons .... William John, Absolam, James and George. Three boys William,Absolam and James migrated to Australia on board the 'Oregon' from Plymouth on 13/7/1851. William Is my GGGrandfather and I have heaps of info on the Australian side but would like to know about the Family connections in Engl..... regards Colleen. |

Hi Colleen i am looking for information about my adopted great grandfather as his grandson was my adopted father and it is hard i can tell you as they lived in Sth Australia the name i am looking for a Charles William Brown born in the UK but migrated to Australia after 1841 census were done.
