Mary BROWN, b. 1840, Ireland, the daughter of Charles BROWN and Isabella GALLACHER, married in Bonhill, Sct in 1860 William WAUGH On the marriage cert. there was no reference to deceased parents so I have assumed that Charles and Isabella Brown were still living in 1860. Mary's age is consistent on all certificates and census reports that I have been able to acquire. Death Certificate: District Name-Dumbarton Name: Mary Waugh, widow of William Waugh, factory worker Date of Death: 18 Jan 1916: Age 76 Place of Death: 24 William Street, Dumbarton (usual residence) Father: Charles Brown (deceased) Mother: Isabella Sweeney, previously Brown (deceased): Maiden name: Gallacher Name of Informant: James Brown of 7 Thimble Street, Renton (nephew) Mary was living with a Belle Brown at the time of her death. I have never been able to establish the relationship. As well, I have no solution as to where the nephew James Brown fits in. Help, please.
