I am trying to find information on my ggreat-great grandfather JAMES BROWN. He was born about 1843 in Scotland, but I have absolutely no idea where abouts. He married Hannah Backhouse, I think she was a widow with 2 children , Anne and William. Hannah's maiden name was Leckenby and they married in the Sunderland area Dec.1871, had 7 children and lived in Warden, Northumberland. His parents were James Brown and Elizabeth ? both born about 1818-20 in Scotland, his siblings include George, Isabella, Ann, Cecilia and Christenia. Any information would be very much appreciated. Thanks. |
