John Brown was born C1815 Norfolk England. In 1836 he was convicted of Ship Robbery at the York West Riding Quarter Sessions and sentenced to 7 years. As a result, he was transported to NSW arriving in February 1837. In 1841 he married Susannah Eleanor Seymour. Some time after he married, he changed his name to William Charles Brown. To date, I haven't been able to find out anything about his life in England, who his parents were, if he had any brothers and sisters and his date of birth. Is anyone related, can anyone help me find out more about him. |
