Brown's of Newborough/Derby 1861 - 1920's Alice Harriett Brown born 1861 Newborough, Staffordshire, daughter of David and Caroline Brown nee Dainty married Samuel Whittingham in 1885 (Lichfield Registration District) they had seven children as follows:- Cyberline J. born 1885 Abbots Bromley, Staffordshire. Lily born 1887 Shardlow, Derbyshire. Frederick John born 1890 Derby Derbyshire. Hugh Francis born 1893 Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Raymond Samuel born 1896 Chesterfield Derbyshire. Harold born 1898 Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Patricia Minnie born 1900 Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The father Samuel was a member of the Derbyshire Police Force at least from 1891 to 1901. if any of this information is familiar to anybody else, I would most certainly like to hear from you. |
