hi, I am looking to find more information on my family tree. I have just added some more information, so please re-read if already read. Currently i know that my Grandad JAMES LAURENCE BROWN was born in 1922 and died in 1990. He was married to OLGA PUDDINGTON and they lived just outside Canterbury, and i beleive his parents also lived in that area. He had a sister called OLIVE, but i have no more information on her. His Father was also JAMES BROWN. I belive he was born in London, posibly the Eastend. He went to the same school as Charlie Chaplin and was a freind of Sid Chaplin (Charlies older brother). He lived in Whitstable, Kent with his wife LAURA FENTERMAN, and they owned an Iron Mungers in the town. His Grandfather was also JAMES BROWN. i know that there is a 'family tradtion' to name or have in the name JAMES in the name of the first born male. i know this because it has been paased down to me (STEPHEN JAMES) from my dad (GRAHAM JAMES) from my Grandad (JAMES LAURENCE) Thanks Stephen |
