Seeking any info on a Robert William BURKE born around 1942 assumably in Sydney Australia, had a son (robbie) and daughter(name unknown) in Charters Towers around the late 60's and then a son in Mt Isa in 1973 (my husband) William Burke. Robert Burke (sometimes known as Bobby) was an orphan from the age of 14 after his parents died in a truck accident. As an adult i only know he worked on the land, drove road trains and was an incredible horseman - he dissapeared when my husband was a toddler and he would desperately love to hear from any one with information on his whereabouts or perhaps any other children who think this may also be their father as we believe there may be more children. |
