Trying to find Burke

My gt.grandfather James Burke was married to a Margaret Burke, and supposedly came from County Cork, Ireland. They had a son, James Burke, my grandfather. Born in Chorlton, Manchester, he married Ellen Thornhill (born in Manchester, but has associations with Leeds). They lived in the Moston area. I have lots of names in this tree, and am interested in finding descendants of both Burke and Thornhill, especially with roots in Chorlton-on-medlock, Ancoats, Hulme, and Cheetham Hill. One name especially interested in is, Samuel Ramsdale Thornhill who married Annie Goldthorpe (Leeds). |
