I would appreciate a search in the 1881 census for Ontario.

Isabella Cameron - born 1822 in Scotland (apparently living with her sons, Albert and William)

I don't know what happened to her after this date and am hoping someone can perhaps find her.

Thanks!
Helen

Thanks for that info Andy.

This definitely is Isabella Cameron.

Do you know if there are any further census to be found in Canada ?

I would be interested to know what happened to her following the 1881 census.

Thanks Ginny,

I know Isabella Cameron was widowed in 1880 so am not sure if this is the same person. I'll keep it as a possibility however until proved otherwise.

Will also hang on to the death information and maybe look further into these.

Appreciate your help,

Helen

Start at
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/genealogy/index-e.html
and click on census.

For images redo the above posted searches using the links:
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/census-1881/index-e.html
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/census-1891/index-e.html

The comparable links:
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/census-1901/index-e.html
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/census-1911/index-e.html
only let you search by place, so for 1901-1911 (and 1851) use:
http://automatedgenealogy.com/census/index.html
and click on "view image". Actually, it's still necessary to later do a 1901 place search for Schedule 2 (the building schedule) to find the address.

Thanks mgnv,

For info on contacting Canadian data.

Will prove helpful in many ways as I have other families to search for in addition to the Cameron's.

Appreciate your help.
