The name cameron does mean crooked nose but it comes from the shape of a hill in Fife where the name originated before the family moved through marriage (before 1300) to eventually end up in the fort william area. All camerons who have crooked noses is pure coincidence

Hi Andrew!

Here is another Cameron with a coincidental crooked nose and raised in England no less. Your message caught my eye and I wondered if you have in your tree a Catherine (Cathy or sometimes Cathie) Cameron 1897-1967 daughter of William and Catherine nee Devlin. I believe that William farmed in the Fort William area but his daughter was brought up by his mother just outside of Glasgow and we do not know what happened to him.

Long shot I know, but worth a try, many thanks, Jane
